Appointment to the San Mateo County Workforce Investment Board

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the appointment of Patricia Webb, as an Economic Development Representative to the Workforce Investment Board, to a term expiring June 30, 2011.

BACKGROUND:

The Workforce Investment Board approved the application of Patricia Webb at the December 18, 2008 meeting.

DISCUSSION:

Patricia Webb is the Housing & Economic Development Manager for the City of Redwood City. She has served in her current position at Redwood City for eleven years. She is currently Chair of the San Mateo Credit Union Board of Directors.

Patricia is also a member of the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce, having served as Board Chair in the past.
