RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE MASTER TAX-EXEMPT LEASE/PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH KEY GOVERNMENT FINANCE, INC. FOR LEASING SERVICES, TO ADD UP TO $1,000,000 TO THE AGREEMENT, FOR A NEW TOTAL AMOUNT FINANCED NOT TO EXCEED $5,000,000, AND EXTEND THE TERM END DATE TO MARCH 27, 2011

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, in March 2006, this Board of Supervisors approved Resolution 067871 authorizing the execution of a master tax-exempt lease/purchase Agreement with Key Government Finance, Inc. for a period of three years in an amount financed not to exceed $4,000,000 and authorizing the County’s Purchasing Agent to execute lease/purchases with Key Government Finance, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, Key Government Finance, Inc. and the County of San Mateo now wish to amend the Agreement to extend the term to March 27, 2011, and to add up to $1,000,000 to the Agreement, for a new total amount financed not to exceed $5,000,000; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board for its consideration and acceptance an Amendment, and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into the same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
