BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, SITTING AS THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT #1 TO ATTACHMENT “A” OF THE AMENDED AND RESTATED MOVING TO WORK AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO (HACSM) AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OR DESIGNEE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING TO SIGN AMENDMENT #1 TO ATTACHEMENT “A”

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo and HUD executed the Amended and Restated Moving to Work Agreement which extends the Moving to Work (MTW) program status through the year 2018 for HACSM; and

WHEREAS, Attachment A of the Amended and Restate Moving to Work Agreement discusses the calculation of funding levels that HUD will provide HACSM for its Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing programs; and

WHEREAS, MTW agencies are permitted to receive all such funds as a “block grant” so the funds can be used for any eligible program expense; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration and acceptance Amendment #1 to Attachment A of the Amended and Restated Moving to Work Agreement reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Commissioners has examined and approved the same as to form and content.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority, approve Amendment #1 to Attachment A of the Amended and Restated Moving to Work Agreement between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo and authorize the Director of Housing or his designee to sign Amendment #1 to Attachment A.
