BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION: 1) AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH ROGER WAY TO PROVIDE GRANT WRITING SERVICES, INCREASING THE TOTAL OBLIGATION BY $60,000 TO $170,000, WITH NO CHANGE IN THE TERM; AND 2) AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF THE HEALTH SYSTEM OR DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS WHICH MODIFY THE COUNTY’S MAXIMUM FISCAL OBLIGATION BY NO MORE THAN $25,000 (IN AGGREGATE), AND/OR MODIFY THE CONTRACT TERM AND/OR SERVICES SO LONG AS THE MODIFIED TERM OR SERVICES IS/ARE WITHIN THE CURRENT OR REVISED FISCAL PROVISIONS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, on July 11, 2008, the County Manager, by Agreement Number 55500-09-C057, approved an Agreement for the period August 1, 2008 through June 30, 2010, whereby Roger Way will support the San Mateo County Health System by providing grant writing services; and

 

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the Agreement to increase the maximum obligation by $60,000, for a maximum obligation of $170,000 with no change to the term; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has been presented with the Amendment to the Agreement and examined and approved it as to both form and content, and desires to enter into said Amendment:

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Health System or designee is authorized to execute contract amendments which modify the County's maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate), and/or modify the contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions
