BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE FIVE AGREEMENTS WITH (1) C&S COMPANIES, (2) COFFMAN ASSOCIATES, (3) KENNEDY/JENKS CONSULTANTS, (4) MEAD AND HUNT, INC. AND (5) PARSONS BRINCKERHOFF FOR OMNIBUS AIRPORT PLANNING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION AND CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION GRANT FUNDED OR AIRPORT ENTERPRISE FUNDED PROJECTS AT THE SAN CARLOS AND HALF MOON BAY AIRPORTS AND THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED TO EXTEND THE TERM FOR TWO (2) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR TERMS..

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of this County is authorized to engage the services of professional technical experts; and

WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by selecting and utilizing consulting firms for various airport engineering and planning services at the San Carlos and Half Moon Bay Airports; and

WHEREAS, the firms of C&S Companies, Coffman Associates, Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, Mead and Hunt, Inc. and Parsons Brinckerhoff are professional consulting firms qualified to perform airport engineering and planning services on a variety of projects; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that agreements be entered into with the five above-referenced firms to provide airport engineering and planning services as may be needed at the County’s Airports and under the direction of the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

the President of this Board be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said five agreements with (1) C&S Companies, (2) Coffman Associates, (3) Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, (4) Mead and Hunt, Inc. and (5) Parsons Brinckerhoff for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the signature of the Clerk of this Board shall attest thereto; and

2.

the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to extend the term for two (2) additional one-year terms.
