Ms. Sepi Richardson was first appointed to the Civil Service Commission’s 5th District seat in September 2000 to complete a partial term that expired in January 2001. She was subsequently re-appointed to a four-year term in 2001 and automatically re-appointed in 2005.
Ms. Richardson is the 2009 mayor of Brisbane, having served as a councilmember in that community since 1995. Brisbane voters have since re-elected her twice: November 2001 and November 2005. She has served on several countywide bodies, including the Criminal Justice Council, the Airport Roundtable and C/CAG. Ms. Richardson is a highly respected leader in her city as well as the county.
She is a businesswoman and educator holding a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree from California State University.
I believe Ms. Richardson’s collective knowledge and private sector and public service experiences will continue to be assets for the Civil Service Commission.
