SUBJECT:

Re-appoint Karen Wilson, Barbara Lewicki, Thomas Daly, Linda Montalto Patterson, and Ronald Madson to the Coastside Design Review Committee.

RECOMMENDATION:

Affirm the re-appointment of Karen Wilson, Thomas Daly, and Ronald Madson as members of the San Mateo County Coastside Design Review expiring on March 31^st, 2010.

Affirm the re-appointment of Barbara Lewicki and Linda Montalto Patterson as alternate members of the San Mateo County Coastside Design Review Committee expiring on March 31^st, 2010.

Goal(s): Civic engagement -- including voting, public service, charitable giving, volunteerism, and participation in public discussions of important issues -- is uniformly high among the diverse population of San Mateo County.

BACKGROUND:

Karen Wilson, Thomas Daly, and Ronald Madson are all current members of the Coastside Design Review Committee. Their terms have expired and they are eligible for re-appointment. Each of them has been a valuable member of the committee who has served in a capable manner. These appointments would be for a term expiring on March 31^st 2010.

Barbara Lewicki and Linda Montalto Patterson are both current alternate members of the Coastside Design Review Committee. Their terms have expired and they are eligible for re-appointment. Both Ms. Lewicki and Ms. Patterson have served the committee honorably for six years. These appointments would be for a term expiring on March 31^st 2010.
