RESOLUTION AMENDING THE DESIGNATION OF FREIGHT LOADING ZONES IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ON STANFORD AVENUE IN NORTH FAIR OAKS, UNINCORPORATED REDWOOD CITY AREA

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 22507 and Section 7.28.010 of the County Ordinance Code allow the Board of Supervisors to establish parking zones that prohibit or restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles; and

 

WHEREAS, on June 20, 2006, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 68090 to generally specify parking restrictions and regulations for loading zones in the unincorporated area of the County; and

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that a loading zone specified in Resolution No. 68090 be amended as noted herein; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

The freight loading zone designated by Resolution No. 68090 is hereby amended to read as follows, and Resolution No. 68090, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on June 20, 2006, is amended accordingly:

 
   

Stanford Avenue (County Road No. 658), North Fair Oaks

   

Delete the reference that creates a freight loading zone on the easterly side of STANFORD AVENUE commencing at a point 25 feet southerly of the intersection of SAN MATEO AVENUE and extending southerly a distance of 28 feet, more or less.

 
   

A freight loading zone is created at the following location:

   

On the easterly side of STANFORD AVENUE commencing at a point 71 feet southerly of the intersection of SAN MATEO AVENUE and extending southerly a distance of 28 feet, more or less.
