RECOMMENDATION:
|
Amend the Board of Supervisors’ meeting schedule for calendar year 2009, previously approved on November 18, 2008, to add July 21, 2009 as a regular meeting date.
|

BACKGROUND:
|
On November 18, 2008, the Board approved a meeting schedule which allows for 28 regularly scheduled public meetings from January through December 2009. Due to the current fiscal crisis, and the need to be prepared to take action to respond to that crisis, it would be prudent to add an additional regular meeting on July 21, 2009 to the schedule.
