RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REVISIONS TO THE PARKS FEE SCHEDULE TO ALLOW PARK USERS TO CHANGE OR CANCEL FAMILY CAMPING AND HORSE CAMPING RESERVATIONS FOR A FEE, MODIFYING THE GROUP PICNIC SITE CATEGORY CAPACITIES, AND ADDING TWO TYPES OF ANNUAL PASSES FOR PARK USERS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|

|
WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Department of Parks desires to provide for users the ability to change and cancel Family Camping and Horse Camping reservations for a fee; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Parks desires to change the 51 to 75 persons capacity group picnic sites to 51 to 100 persons capacity group picnic sites at the existing fee of $120; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Parks desires to create two Parks Annual Passes, Family and Corporate for $100 and $200 respectively, in addition to the existing $60 Individual Annual Pass; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed the proposed revisions to the Parks Fee Schedule at their public meeting of May 7, 2009 and unanimously recommended approval of the proposed revisions to the Parks Fee Schedule to the Board of Supervisors.

|
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors by adoption of this resolution authorizes revisions to the Parks Fee Schedule to allow park users to change or cancel Family Camping and Horse Camping reservations for a percentage fee of 25% and 10% per night respectively; to modify the group picnic site category capacities increasing the 51 to 75 persons capacity to 51 to 100 persons capacity for the existing fee of $120; and to create two new types of annual passes for park users, Family and Corporate, for $100 and $200 respectively, in addition to existing Individual Annual Pass, all of which are shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution and the County Parks Fee Schedule.
