BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF TWO NEW STOPS SIGNS THAT DIRECT TRAFFIC ON 3^RD AVENUE TO STOP AND YIELD TO TRAFFIC ON FAIR OAKS AVENUE IN NORTH FAIR OAKS, REDWOOD CITY AREA

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 21351 allows local authorities to install stop signs at any location so as to control traffic within an intersection; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that stop signs be installed as noted herein; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

Stop Signs be installed at the following locations:

•

3rd Avenue (County Road No. 479-B) at Fair Oaks Avenue (County Road No. 1416-B), North Fair Oaks, Redwood City Area

One stop sign in each direction on 3^rd AVENUE to direct traffic to stop and yield to the traffic on FAIR OAKS AVENUE.
