BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION CORRECTING THE LOCATION OF ONE OF THE FIVE TIME LIMITED PARKING ZONES ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 70022 (NORTHSIDE AVENUE IN NORTH FAIR OAKS, REDWOOD CITY AREA).

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 22507 and Section 7.28.010 of the County Ordinance Code allow the Board of Supervisors to establish parking zones that prohibit or restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles; and

WHEREAS, on March 31, 2009, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 70022 to specify parking restrictions and regulations for time limited parking zones in the unincorporated areas of the County; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has determined that public safety would benefit from a minor modification of the location of the zone specified in Resolution No. 70022; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that a time limited parking zone location specified in Resolution No. 70022 be corrected as noted herein; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

The time limited parking zone designated by Resolution No. 70022 is hereby amended as follows, and Resolution No. 70022, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on March 31, 2009, is amended accordingly:

Northside Avenue (County Road No. 667) near 2737 Northside Avenue, North Fair Oaks, Redwood City Area

Delete the reference that creates a twenty-minute time limited parking zone on the southerly side of NORTHSIDE AVENUE commencing at a point 33 feet westerly of the centerline of the intersection of HAMPSHIRE AVENUE and extending westerly a distance of 135 feet, more or less.

A twenty-minute time limited parking zone is created at the following location:

On the southerly side of NORTHSIDE AVENUE commencing at a point 33 feet westerly of the centerline of the intersection of WARRINGTON AVENUE and extending westerly a distance of 115 feet, more or less.
