RESOLUTION CORRECTING THE LOCATION OF A DESIGNATED TIME LIMITED PARKING ZONE IN NORTH FAIR OAKS, REDWOOD CITY AREA, ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 67697

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 22507 and Section 7.28.010 of the County Ordinance Code allow the Board of Supervisors to establish parking zones that prohibit or restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles; and

WHEREAS, on December 6, 2005, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 67697 to specify parking restrictions and regulations for two-hour time limited parking zones in the unincorporated areas of the County; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that a time limited zone specified in Resolution No. 67697 be amended as noted herein; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

The time limited parking zone designated by Resolution No. 67697 is hereby amended as follows, and Resolution No. 67697, adopted by the Board of Supervisors on December 6, 2005, is amended accordingly:

Create an exception to the reference that established a two-hour time limited parking zone on both sides of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD commencing at the DUMBARTON SPUR RAILROAD CROSSING and extending southeasterly to the intersection of EIGHTH AVENUE, a distance of 7,200 feet, more or less, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. excepting therefrom where other parking restrictions are implemented by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors.

A freight loading zone is created at the following location:

Middlefield Road (County Road No. 387-B) near 2844 Middlefield Road, North Fair Oaks, Redwood City Area

On the southerly side of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD commencing at a point 215 feet northwesterly from the centerline of the intersection of DUMBARTON AVENUE and extending northwesterly a distance of 30 feet, more or less.
