BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION 1) AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH REDWOOD CITY CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR THE COUNTY TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL CATERING SERVICES FROM JULY 1, 2009 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $156,964; AND 2) AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF THE HEALTH SYSTEM OR DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS WHICH MODIFY THE COUNTY’S MAXIMUM FISCAL OBLIGATION BY NO MORE THAN $25,000 (IN AGGREGATE), AND/OR MODIFY THE CONTRACT TERM AND/OR SERVICES SO LONG AS THE MODIFIED TERM OR SERVICES IS/ARE WITHIN THE CURRENT OR REVISED FISCAL PROVISIONS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with an Agreement whereby San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC) shall provide to Redwood City Child Development Program (RCCD) professional catering services for County youth for the period of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2012, for which RCCD shall pay SMMC an amount not to exceed $301,530; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with the Agreement and has examined and approved the Agreement as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of the Health System or designee is authorized to execute contract amendments which modify the County’s maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate), and/or modify the contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions.
