RECOMMENDATION:

Reappoint Marian Vanden Bosch to the San Mateo County Parks and Recreation Commission with a term of three years.

BACKGROUND:
|
The Parks and Recreation Commission’s mission is to enhance park, recreational and educational opportunities for San Mateo County residents. The Commission makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and County Manager in all maters concerning the construction and maintenance for the physical property under the jurisdiction of said commission.

DISCUSSION:
|
Marian Vander Bosch represents the fourth district and her term expired on 1/3/09. I recommend that she be reappointed for another term, expiring 1/3/12.
