RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH FRED FINCH YOUTH CENTER FOR THE PROVISION OF FULL SERVICE PARTNERSHIP SERVICES, INCREASING THE MAXIMUM OBLIGATION BY $161,075 TO A NEW MAXIMUM OF $1,346,108, WITH NO CHANGE TO THE AGREEMENT TERM OF JULY 1, 2009 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2010

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on September 29, 2009, this Board of Supervisors approved an Agreement with Fred Finch Youth Center by Resolution 70400, for the provision of Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Crisis In-Home Stabilization Program services, Visiting Therapist Program services, Day Treatment services and associated outpatient mental health services for children and youth, for the term July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010, for a maximum obligation of $1,185,033; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Amendment to the Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the Contractor shall provide Full Service Partnership services for children and youth placed in out-of-County foster care settings; and

WHEREAS, the maximum obligation is being increased by $161,075 to a new maximum obligation of $1,346,108 and the term of July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010 is unchanged; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the Amendment to the Agreement as to form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
