RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE OF $1,000.00 IN THE AMOUNT APPROVED FOR THE PURCHASE OF A DINEX COOK-CHILL SYSTEM FOR A REVISED AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $976,132, AND EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE PURCHASE ORDER THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2009

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on October 7, 2008, this Board adopted Resolution 069738, which authorized the execution of a Purchase Order to purchase and install a Cook-Chill System for an amount not to exceed $975,132; and

WHEREAS, due to an intervening increase in the sales tax rate applicable to the purchase of the Cook-Chill System, an additional $1,000 is needed to pay for the Cook-Chill System; and

WHEREAS, it also appears appropriate to extend the terms of this Purchase

Order for the purchase of the Cook-Chill System and its components to December 31,

2009; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of Amendment to the

Purchase Order which addresses the matters set forth above.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Purchasing Agent be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute the change order for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo.
