RESOLUTION APPROVING EDITS THE SAN MATEO COUNTY 2010 STATE LEGISLATIVE SESSION PROGRAM

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, effective legislative participation and advocacy are critical to county government and many local programs;

WHEREAS, adoption of a legislative program by the Board of Supervisors is necessary to have successful and effective legislative representation;

WHEREAS, the County Manager’s Office with County departments has coordinated the development of the 2010 State Legislative Session Program;

WHEREAS, the Legislative Committee of the Board of Supervisors has developed the 2010 State Legislative Session Program and recommends its approval by the Board.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors does hereby adopt and approve the 2010 State Legislative Session Program of the County of San Mateo.
