BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION (A) AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE AGREEMENTS WITH COMPUCOM SYSTEMS, INC. AND STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS FOR CONTINGENCY STAFFING SERVICES, INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF THE AGREEMENTS BY UP TO $1,000,000, (B) LIMITING THE COUNTY’S TOTAL FISCAL OBLIGATION UNDER BOTH AGREEMENTS TO $4,500,000 IN AGGREGATE.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, on December 9, 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved an Agreement with Compucom Systems, Inc for contingency staffing services, for a total fiscal obligation of $3,500,000 and Strategic Staffing Solutions for contingency staffing services, for a total fiscal obligation of $3,500,000, limiting the County’s total fiscal obligation under both Agreements to $3,500,000 in aggregate;

 

WHEREAS, this Board having considered the matter has determined that it would be in the best interest of the County to approve such Amendments to the Agreement with Compucom Systems, Inc to increase the contract amount by up to $1,000,000, for a new total fiscal obligation not to exceed $4,500,000 and Strategic Staffing Solutions to increase the contract amount by up to $1,000,000, for a new total fiscal obligation not to exceed $4,500,000;

 

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors wishes to limit the County’s total fiscal obligation under these two agreements to an amount not to exceed $4,500,000 in aggregate;

 

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Amendments, said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to execute said Amendments as are approved by the County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County’s total fiscal obligation under both agreements is not to exceed $4,500,000 in aggregate.
