RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO COLLECT A NINETY- FIVE DOLLAR ADMINISTRATIVE FEE PER “COVERED PROJECT” FOR EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE DEPARTMENT TO ADMINISTER THE RECYCLING AND DIVERSION OF CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION DEBRIS ORDINANCE

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, County Ordinance No. 04099, adopted February 26, 2002, authorizes the setting of fees by resolution for administration of the Recycling and Diversion of Debris from Construction and Demolition Ordinance; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed the fee, the basis of their calculation and the justification as set forth in the staff report presented in this matter.

 

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Department of Public Works is authorized to collect a ninety -five dollar Administrative Fee to recover the cost of the administering the Recycling and Diversion of Debris from Construction and Demolition Ordinance for each “Covered Project” as defined in the Ordinance at the time a Project Applicant submits a Waste Management Plan for review.
