RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING

Ann Marie Smith

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

WHEREAS, Ann Marie Smith is retiring after 16 years of service to Caminar; and

WHEREAS, in addition to her work for the Caminar Agency Board, Ms. Smith passionately and dedicatedly served the Las Vegas Region on behalf of Caminar; and

WHEREAS, Ann Marie Smith helped lead Caminar through the merger with Community Living Centers; and

WHEREAS, She helped make certain the highest quality Caminar services were delivered in a timely and efficient manner to all consumer communities in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as in Butte, Solano, and San Mateo Counties; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Smith held executive leadership positions on Caminar’s Board of Directors as President, Secretary and Treasurer over her 16 years at the agency, also filling in as Parliamentarian and Sergeant-At-Arms when necessary; and

WHEREAS, Ann Marie Smith supplied Caminar with the consistent vision and resilient leadership necessary to keep the Agency focused on it’s mission, thus enabling Caminar to establish a nonpareil service delivery system and become one of the premier case management agencies in the United States.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County does hereby congratulate Ann Marie Smith on her 16 years of service with Caminar, and extends its best wishes to her in the coming years.
