RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT 10-95144 WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PUBLIC HEALTH MICROBIOLOGIST POST-DOCTORAL TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012, FOR A MAXIMUM OBLIGATION OF $240,000

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board has been presented for its consideration and acceptance Agreement 10-95144 with the California Department of Public Health, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the San Mateo County Health System, Community Health Public Health Laboratory shall participate in the Public Health Microbiologist Post-doctoral Training Program; and

WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement is July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2012, and the maximum dollar amount is $240,000; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with the Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
