BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION A) APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A UNITED STATES FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE PARTNERS FOR FISH AND WILDLIFE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 FOR THE BUFFERING RARE SPECIES HABITAT AT EDGEWOOD PARK AND NATURAL PRESERVE PROJECT; AND B) AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE IN THE NAME OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO ALL NECESSARY CONTRACTS, AGREEMENTS, AMENDMENTS, PAYMENT REQUESTS, AND ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER HERETO FOR THE PURPOSES OF IMPLEMENTING THE PURPOSES SPECIFIED IN THE COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County wants to undertake the implementation of the Buffering Rare Species Habitat at Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve Project; and

WHEREAS, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service approved cooperative agreement funding for the Buffering Rare Species Habitat at Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve Project; and

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is willing to enter into a cooperative agreement with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors by adoption of this Resolution, hereby A) approves the acceptance of a United States Fish and Wildlife Service Partners for Fish and Wildlife Cooperative Agreement Funds in the amount of $20,000 for the Buffering Rare Species Habitat at Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve Project; and B) authorizes the Director of the Department of Parks or his designee to execute in the name of the County of San Mateo all necessary contracts, agreements, amendments, payment requests, and electronic funds transfer hereto for the purposes of implementing the purposes specified in the cooperative agreement.
