BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FOR PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES COMMENCING OCTOBER 5, 2009 FOR A FIVE YEAR TERM THROUGH OCTOBER 4, 2014, WITH A TOTAL PAYMENT NOT TO EXCEED $122,413 FOR THE FIRST YEAR OF SERVICE

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on April 13, 2010, the Board of Supervisors approved an Agreement with the CITY of South San Francisco whereby the COUNTY provides dispatch and communications services to the CITY Fire Department; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance the Agreement, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the term of the Agreement is term of five years; and the base rate of the CITY’s payment to the COUNTY is $122,413 for the first year of the agreement; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the Agreement as to form and content and desires to enter into same:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
