RESOLUTION HONORING AND COMMENDING

DAWN SPRAY
2009 Public Safety Dispatcher of the Year

WHEREAS, public safety dispatchers provide a critical but seldom visible linkage between the public and law enforcement, fire and emergency medical service providers; and
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, public safety dispatchers efficiently coordinate emergency services for both man-made and natural disasters to ensure the health and safety of our community; and
|
|
WHEREAS, San Mateo County public safety dispatchers play a vital role in the protection of human life and property in our community; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, DAWN SPRAY has been selected by her colleagues as the 2009 Public Safety Dispatcher of the Year in the County of San Mateo; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, DAWN SPRAY exemplifies the dedication and commitment to public safety that is exhibited by all public safety dispatchers on a daily basis.
|
|
|
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, on May 25, 2010, honors and commends DAWN SPRAY as the 2009 Public Safety Dispatcher of the Year, and thanks her for her many hours of dedication in her critical role assisting law enforcement, fire and emergency medical service providers.
