RECOMMENDATION:
|
Reappoint Patricia Firenze, Patricia Georges, David Gilson, Melodie Lew, Denis O’Sullivan and Annie Sadler to the Commission on Aging, terms expiring June 30, 2013.
|

|
BACKGROUND:
|
The mission of the San Mateo County Commission on Aging is to improve the quality of life for seniors in San Mateo County through the promotion of independence, self-sufficiency, mental and physical health, as well as community involvement.
|
|
|
DISCUSSION:
|
Patricia Firenze, David Gilson and Melodie Lew have served on the Commission on Aging since November 6, 2008 and are requesting reappointment to another term.
|
|
|
Patricia Georges has served since October 6, 2006 and wishes to be reappointed to another term.
|
|
|
Dennis O’Sullivan has served on the Commission since June 7, 2007 and wishes to be reappointed to another term.
|
|
|
Annie Sadler has served since October 31, 2001 and wished to be reappointed to a final term on the Commission.
