RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A 5-MINUTE SCHOOL PASSENGER LOADING ZONE ON OAKSIDE AVENUE IN UNINCORPORATED REDWOOD CITY

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 22507, Section 7.52.010 and Section 7.28.010 of the County Ordinance Code allow the Board of Supervisors to establish parking zones that prohibit or restrict the stopping, parking, or standing of vehicles; and
|
|
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that a 5-minute school passenger loading zone be established as noted herein; and
|
|
WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.
|
|
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:
|
|
1.

A 5-minute School Passenger Loading Zone between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, be established at the following location:
|
|
|

|
Oakside Avenue (County Road No. 428), Unincorporated Redwood City
|
|
|
On the westerly side of OAKSIDE AVENUE commencing at a point 43 feet southerly of the intersection with FAIR OAKS AVENUE and extending southerly a distance of 208 feet, more or less.

2.

The Department of Public Works is authorized and directed to post any necessary signs and pavement markings.
