FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no significant impact on the County Parks budget or the County’s Net Cost. Annual funding for the Parks Department’s Volunteer Program comes primarily from the General Fund. The Foundation’s contribution to this Program was significantly increased from $10,000 to $25,000 this year which reduced impact to the General Fund.
