RECOMMENDATION:
|
Appoint William Kehoe to the Midcoast Community Council (MCC). William Kehoe Is recommended to one of the two vacant Member positions that end on November 30th, 2013.
|

BACKGROUND:
|
The Board of Supervisors has the role of making appointments to fill seats opened through resignation on the Midcoast Community Council. The opening on the Midcoast Community Council being filled by this appointment was created by the resignation of David Hankin on March 4, 2010.
|

|
DISCUSSION:
|
As in previous cases, the Board of Supervisors has relied on the Midcoast Community Council to review all applications to make a recommendation for the Board’s consideration.
|
|
|
The Midcoast Community Council has vetted the applicants and recommends William Kehoe for appointment. William has indicated a desire to apply life long learning and his professional development knowledge to creating a vibrant costal community while preserving the beautiful environment of the coast. He was interviewed by Supervisors Gordon and Jacobs Gibson.
