RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF TWO STOP SIGNS ON RINGWOOD AVENUE AT COLEMAN AVENUE, MENLO OAKS AREA

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 21351 allows local authorities in their respective jurisdictions to install traffic signs as may be necessary to control traffic within an intersection; and

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that two stop signs be installed as noted herein; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

 

1.

Stop Signs be installed at the following locations:

 
 

Ringwood Avenue (County Road No. 34) at Coleman Avenue (County Road No. 1333), Menlo Oaks Area

   

A stop sign on northeast-bound RINGWOOD AVENUE to direct traffic to stop at the intersection of COLEMAN AVENUE.

 
 

Ringwood Avenue (County Road No. 34) at Coleman Avenue (County Road No. 1333), Menlo Oaks Area

   

A stop sign on southwest-bound RINGWOOD AVENUE to direct traffic to stop at the intersection of COLEMAN AVENUE.

 

2.

The Department of Public Works is authorized and directed to post any necessary signs and pavement markings.
