RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM DELTA DENTAL OF CALIFORNIA IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000 IN SUPPORT OF THE ELECTRONIC DENTAL RECORD IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT AT SAN MATEO MEDICAL CENTER.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC) is planning an electronic dental record (EDR) implementation project that will allow SMMC to increase its capacity to provide dental treatment to underserved children; and

WHEREAS, on July 15, 2010, Delta Dental of California awarded a grant to the County in the amount of $10,000 in support of the SMMC’s EDR; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board for its consideration and acceptance the Delta Dental of California grant award, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the grantor will allocate funds in the amount of $10,000 in support of SMMC EDR; and

WHEREAS, this Board has examined and approved the grant award as to both form and content and desires to accept it.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that this Board of Supervisors hereby accepts the grant award from Delta Dental of California on behalf of the County of San Mateo in the amount of $10,000.
