RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH NORTHWOODS CONSULTING PARTNERS, INC., TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE LICENSES FOR THE DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, THE TREM REMAINS THE SAME, APRIL 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2011, INCREASING THE AMOUNT BY $315,362 FOR A TOTAL OBLIGATION OF $1,568,680; $45,881 IS NET COUNTY COST

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on April 13, 2010, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution Number 070700 waiving the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, authorizing Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc., to provide an automation foundation for improving business process efficiencies, and authorizing the Director of the Human Services Agency to execute subsequent amendments and minor changes in the types of services and activities provided under the Agreement; and

WHEREAS, the parties now wishes to Amend the Agreement with Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc., for additional software licenses for the document management system in the amount of $315,362, for a total obligation of $1,568,680, the term will remain the same April 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of this Amendment to the Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into said Amendment.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
