RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF TWO STOP SIGNS ON OAK KNOLL DRIVE AT SUMMIT DRIVE, EMERALD LAKE HILLS AREA
|

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
|
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 21351 et al. allows local authorities in their respective jurisdictions to install traffic signs as may be necessary to control traffic within an intersection; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that two stop signs be installed as noted herein; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.
|
|
|
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:
|
|
|
1.

Stop Signs be installed at the following locations:
|
|
|
|
|

Oak Knoll Drive (County Road No. 58A) at Summit Drive (County Road No. 414), Emerald Lake Hills Area
|
|
|
|
A stop sign on westbound OAK KNOLL DRIVE to direct traffic to stop at the intersection of SUMMIT DRIVE.
|
|
|
|
|

Oak Knoll Drive (County Road No. 58A) at Summit Drive (County Road No. 414), Emerald Lake Hills Area
|
|
|
|
A stop sign on eastbound OAK KNOLL DRIVE to direct traffic to stop at the intersection of SUMMIT DRIVE.

|
2.
|
The Department of Public Works is authorized and directed to post any necessary signs and pavement markings.
