On January 15, 2002, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 65013,creating the Arts Commission. The duties of the Commission are to promote and encourage the arts, serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors, oversee the process for preparing and updating the county’s strategic and cultural plan, and act as a liaison with arts organizations to ensure collaboration and coordination relating to cultural and art activities in Sa Mateo County.

Ms. Rodricks is a long-time resident of San Mateo. Her work experience includes over ten years with the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. She has also volunteered extensively in the arts and with non-profit organizations in San Francisco and San Mateo County. Her background in organizing, marketing and fundraising will make her an asset to the San Mateo County Arts Commission, while contributing to the cultural growth and diversity of our county.
