BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF $3,000 FROM THE WESTERN STATES INFORMATION NETWORK TO THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE GANG INTELLIGENCE UNIT IN SUPPORT OF THE 3^RD ANNUAL GANG SYMPOSIUM.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Western States Information Network wishes to donate $3,000 to the County of San Mateo for use by the Sheriff’s Office; and

WHEREAS, said donation will be used to off-set costs associated with the 3^rd Annual Gang Symposium hosted by the Sheriff’s Office Gang Intelligence Unit; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been requested by the Sheriff to accept said donation for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and finds it necessary and desirable to do so:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED THAT THE Board of Supervisors, on behalf of the County of San Mateo, hereby accepts the Western States Information Network’s donation of $3,000 to the Sheriff’s Office, and offers its thanks to the Western States Information Network for the generous donation.
