ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH RASH CURTIS & ASSOCIATES/PROFESSIONAL RECOVERY SYSTEMS, INC. TO PROVIDE SECONDARY COLLECTION SERVICES OF SELECTED ACCOUNTS FOR THE TERM OF DECEMBER 7, 2010 THROUGH DECEMBER 6, 2013, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $375,000

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, in September 2010, the County solicited proposals from firms to perform second level collection services, pursuant to which Rash Curtis & Associates/Professional Recovery Systems, Inc. was selected to provide said requested services; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and ratification an Agreement with Rash Curtis & Associates/Professional Recovery Systems, Inc. for collection of various second level accounts, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, which provides for services for the period commencing December 7, 2010, and ending December 6, 2013; and

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement with Rash Curtis & Associates/Professional Recovery Systems, Inc. and the Clerk of this Board shall attest to the President’s signature thereto.
