RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the nomination by the Treasurer for the appointment of David Glasser to the San Mateo County Treasury Oversight Committee.

BACKGROUND:
|
The position held by Jack Colbourn, representing Bay Area Air Quality Management District, is currently vacant on the County Treasury Oversight Committee. The District has selected Mr. David Glasser, Finance Manager, as their designee and therefore, the Treasurer nominates Mr. Glasser subject to the Board of Supervisor’s confirmation in accordance with the County Investment Policy.

DISCUSSION:
|
Approval of this nomination will contribute to the Shared Vision 2025 outcome of a Collaborative Community as our leaders forge partnerships, promote regional solutions with informed and engaged residents, and approach issues with fiscal accountability and concern for future impacts.
