SUBJECT:

Nomination to appoint Lori Snow to the San Mateo County Treasury Oversight Committee

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the nomination by the Treasurer for the appointment of Lori Snow to the San Mateo County Treasury Oversight Committee.

BACKGROUND:

The position held by Patricia Reavey, representing the Transportation Authority, is currently vacant on the County Treasury Oversight Committee. Ms. Virginia Harrington, Transportation Authority Deputy CEO, has appointed Ms. Lori Snow, Treasury Finance Manager, as the district’s designee; therefore, the Treasurer nominates Ms. Snow subject to the Board of Supervisor’s confirmation in accordance with the County Investment Policy.

DISCUSSION:

Approval of this nomination will contribute to the Shared Vision 2025 outcome of a Collaborative Community as our leaders forge partnerships, promote regional solutions with informed and engaged residents, and approach issues with fiscal accountability and concern for future impacts.
