RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING:
1. THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $275,000 WITH ENOVITY, INC., FOR ENERGY CONSULTING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 15, 2011 THROUGH FEBRUARY 14, 2012; AND

2. THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE SUBSEQUENT CONTRACT AMENDMENTS UP TO A MAXIMUM AGGREGATE OF $25,000 FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $300,000.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo is authorized to engage the services of professional technical experts; and

WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by selecting and using qualified energy consulting firms for various professional consulting services; and

WHEREAS, Enovity Inc., is qualified to provide professional consulting services on a variety of projects; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that an agreement be entered into Enovity Inc., to provide professional energy consulting services as may be needed and under the direction of the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby determined and ordered that:

1.

The President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is, hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto; and

2.

The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute subsequent contract amendments up to a maximum of $25,000.00 in aggregate.
