RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REMOVAL AND RELOCATION OF ONE STOP SIGN ON AUDUBON AVENUE IN THE MONTARA AREA
|

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 21351 et al. allows local authorities in their respective jurisdictions to install traffic signs as may be necessary to control traffic within an intersection; and
|
|
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that one stop sign be removed and relocated in another location as noted herein; and
|
|
WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.
|
|
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:
|
|
1.

One Stop Sign be removed at the following location:
|
|
|

|
Audubon Avenue (County Road No. 1118) at 4th Street (County Road No. 1141), Montara Area
|
|
|
A stop sign on northeast-bound AUDUBON AVENUE to direct traffic to stop at the intersection of 4TH STREET.
|
|
2.
|
Aforementioned Stop Sign be relocated to the following location:
|
|
|

|
Audubon Avenue (County Road No. 1118) at George Street (County Road No. 1111), Montara Area
|
|
|
A stop sign on northeast-bound AUDUBON AVENUE to direct traffic to stop at the intersection of GEORGE STREET.
|
|
3.
|
The Department of Public Works is authorized and directed to remove and post any necessary signs and pavement markings in conjunction with this resolution.
