RECOMMENDATION:
|
Re-appoint Kathleen Barber, Beverly Beasley Johnson, Lecia Roundtree, and Pat Webb to the Workforce Investment Board (WIB), each to a two-year term expiring June 30, 2013.
|

BACKGROUND:
|
The mission of the Workforce Investment Board of San Mateo County is to establish and oversee the implementation of policies that promote an integrated and innovative workforce development system. The WIB Board of Directors approved the re-appointments for the aforementioned group at its April 21, 2011, meeting.

|
DISCUSSION:
|
Kathleen Barber is with the San Mateo County Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and represents a labor organization seat. Beverly Beasley Johnson is with the San Mateo County Human Services Agency and fills a public seat. Lecia Roundtree is with the San Mateo Credit Union and fills a private seat. Pat Webb is with Redwood City Economic Development and fills a public seat.
