BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT AMONG PARTICIPATING CITIES AND THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR THE CONTINUATION OF THE CITY/COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo (“County”) is currently a member of the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County (C/CAG); and;

WHEREAS, the County approved and executed the Joint Powers Agreement in 2007 continuing C/CAG for four years; and

WHEREAS, the County desires to continue participation in C/CAG; and

WHEREAS, the County desires the President of the Board to execute the Joint Powers Agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Joint Powers Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
