RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECT (HIP HOUSING) TO DECREASE THE AGREEMENT AMOUNT DUE TO CALWORKS REDUCTION AND RE-ALLOCATION OF FUNDS, THE TERM REMAINS THE SAME, JULY 1, 2010 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2013, DECREASING THE AMOUNT BY $52,200 FROM $870,000 TO $817,800; $153,600 IS NET COUNTY COST

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Human Services Agency has received a reduction and re-allocation of CalWORKs funds; and

WHEREAS, the Agency finds it necessary to reduce the CalWORKs Agreement amount due to the reduction of funds; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented for its consideration and acceptance of an Amendment to the Agreement with Human Investment Project to reduce the Agreement amount, by $52,200 from $870,000 to $817,800, the term remains the same, July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2013; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such an Amendment to the Agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desire to enter into the same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that

The President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto
