BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS WITH THREE “ON-CALL” INSPECTOR OF RECORD CONSULTING FIRMS: (1) 4LEAF, INC., (2) CM CONSOLIDATED, AND (3) INSPECTION SPECIALTIES TO PROVIDE INSPECTOR OF RECORD PROFESSIONAL SERVICES EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2011 TO JUNE 30, 2014, FOR A MAXIMUM AGGREGATE AMOUNT OF $900,000 ($300,000 PER AGREEMENT).

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo is authorized to engage the services of professional technical experts; and

WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by selecting and using qualified inspectors for various professional consulting services; and

WHEREAS, the inspection firms 4 Leaf, Inc., CM Consolidated, and Inspection Specialties are inspection firms qualified to provide professional consulting services on a variety of projects; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that an agreement be entered into with the three firms of 4 Leaf, Inc., CM Consolidated, and Inspection Specialties to provide Inspection of Record consulting services as may be needed and under the direction of the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of said Agreements and has examined and approved same as to both form and content, and desires to enter into same.

NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby determined and ordered that the President of this Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said three Agreements on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
