RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE: 1. GRANT AGREEMENTS OFFERED BY THE CALIFORNIA STATE LANDS COMMISSION TO BE USED FOR THE MIRADA SURF COASTAL TRAIL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS; AND 2. ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH ACCEPTANCE OF $120,000 IN GRANT FUNDING FROM THE CALIFORNIA STATE LANDS COMMISSION ON BEHALF OF THE COUNTY

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo wants to complete the Mirada Surf Coastal Trail Phase Three Improvement Project; and
|
|
WHEREAS, the California State Lands Commission will provide a grant agreement for $120,000 for the Mirada Surf Coastal Trail Phase Three Improvement Project; and
|
|
WHEREAS, said procedures established by the California State Lands Commission require a grantee to certify by resolution the acceptance of such grant agreement and its terms before submission of said agreement to the State; and
|
|
WHEREAS, the County will comply with the assurances contained in the grant agreement.
|
|
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors adopt this Resolution:
|
|
1)
|
Authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute grant agreements offered by the California State Lands Commission to be used for the Mirada Surf Coastal Trail Improvement Projects; and
|
|
|
2)
|
Authorizing the Director of Public Works or his designee, to execute on behalf of the County any other documents associated with acceptance of $120,000 in grant funding from the California State Lands Commission
