BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT ONE TO THE AGREEMENT WITH TURBO DATA SYSTEMS, INC.

FOR THE PROVISION OF CITATION PROCESSING AND ADJUDICATION OF COUNTY AGENCY ISSUED PARKING CITATIONS, EXTENDING THE TERM THREE (3) YEARS FROM JUNE 30, 2011 TO JUNE 30, 2014

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on September 12, 2006, the County entered into an Agreement (Resolution No. 068290) with Turbo Data Systems, Inc., for the provision of citation processing and adjudication of County agency issued parking citations, for a five (5) year term commencing July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2011; and

WHEREAS, the Agreement included a provision that upon the expiration date, County shall have the option, in its sole and absolute discretion, to extend the term of the Agreement for an additional three (3) years; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the Agreement by extending the term three (3) years from June 30, 2011 to June 30, 2014; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Amendment One and has examined and approved same as to both form and content, and desires to enter into same:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized to, execute said Amendment One to the Agreement with Turbo Data Systems, Inc., for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
