RESOLUTION HONORING AND COMMENDING

JUDY GARB

FOR HER 25 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY

WHEREAS, JUDY GARB joined the Peninsula Jewish Community Center (PJCC) in 1985 and will be celebrating her 25^th anniversary with the PJCC in Spring 2011; and

WHEREAS, JUDY GARB has served as Preschool Director, bringing a strong commitment to education and creative learning to the position and to the curriculum; and

WHEREAS, JUDY GARB is committed to the success of every child that enters the preschool, placing emphasis on supporting the whole child, instilling in them a love of learning and creating a safe, empowering environment for healthy growth and development; and

WHEREAS, JUDY GARB has pursued her passion working with preschool children and families, making herself available to parents and welcoming the entire family of a child into the PJCC preschool community; and

WHEREAS, under Judy’s leadership, the preschool has received many awards and is recognized as the finest preschool on the peninsula; and

WHEREAS, JUDY GARB continues to be a leader for preschool staff, a dedicated member of the PJCC team and an inspiration to the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, hereby honors and commends JUDY GARB for her 25 years of service to the community and the Peninsula Jewish Community Center. On behalf of all citizens, the Board expresses its appreciation for JUDY GARB’s numerous contributions to San Mateo County.
