Cost Recovery Fee Exceptions

(A) The false alarm fees shall not apply to any false alarm emanating from a fire alarm system that has been installed within the 45 days prior to the false alarm.

(B) The false alarm fees shall not be assessed during any County of San Mateo Declared Disaster or area wide power interruption out of the control of the property owner.

(C) The false alarm fees shall not be assessed for the first two (2) False Fire Alarms at the same premises responded to by the fire department during each calendar year.
