RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING

Marc Kaufman

For

22 Years of Service

WHEREAS, MARC KAUFMAN is recognized for twenty two years of dedicated service to the County, keeping our community and our residents safe from fire; and

WHEREAS, MARC KAUFMAN served a dual role as a Kings Mountain Volunteer Firefighter and a Skylonda Volunteer/ Reserve Firefighter; and

WHEREAS, MARC KAUFMAN was a founding member of the San Mateo County Fire Water Tender Group, and provided a critical service in delivering water to all types of fires, including the Sunset Fire in Big Basin Park; and

WHEREAS, MARC KAUFMAN has contributed his valuable experience to San Mateo County Fire in radio communication support and operated the Skylonda Breathing Support for 10 years; and

WHEREAS, MARC KAUFMAN fulfilled the role of Training Officer for the Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Department and the Sklyonda Volunteer Reserve Firefighters from 1991 to 2011.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County recognizes MARK KAUFMAN for his 22 years of service. The Board expresses its gratitude and extends best wishes for many more years of success.
