Employee Success Story: All You Need Is Love (and a Little Less Food)
SamCERA’s Kristina Perez started giving herself something that she had needed all along. Once turning to food to feed emotions, she now turns to several servings of self-love. “Food is not love,” says Kristina, retirement executive secretary, Redwood Shores. “It can be filling, but it’s not fulfilling. Employee Soccer Tournament ~ June 29-30, 2013
After a five-year hiatus, the “County Cup” Employee Soccer Tournament is back! It will be held on Saturday, June 29th and Sunday, June 30th at Hoover Field in Redwood City. This event will be a 7 vs 7 team event played on AYSO fields. Each game will last 45 minutes (2 – 20 minute halfs).

Co-ed teams are forming now through May 24th. Like our other weekend events, it should be a fun, recreational weekend and a great opportunity to socialize with co‑workers and meet employees from other County departments. The first twelve teams to submit their completed team packet (team fee and roster) will play in the tournament.
